Candice Quarters

I remember one time when my (chosen) brother, Don and I had been growing our hair out as teenagers, we had asked my mom for something, and she said "only if I can cut your hair!" And we replied with "well, just this once" or something like that. It became an inside joke, every time she saw us she was threatening to cut off our hair. Haha.

I only actually met Candi a couple times, but I’ve been a part of many phone conversations. One thing that you can’t help but notice about her is how much she loved to talk and tell you about different parts of her life. She had a huge bank of memories that she could go on about for hours given the chance, which I think was her way of preserving and appreciating all of the good times she had... sort of reliving them in her head to bring herself that same joy she felt during those times. I think we could all learn from Candi. She loved to give her son, Rob, a hard time about almost anything, and bringing up past mistakes just to embarrass him. Honestly, I think that just showed how much she loved him and how proud she was of the man he has become... but she could never just say that, so giving him shit was more fun ;) I wish I would have had more time to get to know her, but I’m sure she will continue to live on forever through stories, and I will be able to get to know her through the eyes of others :)

I'm glad I had the chance of meeting Candice,she were a very sweet person,I thank God for giving her the opportunity to meeting and letting me into her life, and I'll never forget the smile on her face,it was one of a kind,her beautiful smile would light up,the darkest room,she will be missed by me Debra Bailey and my girls, and my Condolences and Sympathy goes out to her son,her one and only,Robert, that I also had the pleasure of meeting,very respectful, smart and intelligent young man, that Candice always bragged on, and every sweet thing that she told me and others about her son,he is all that and more, and my Condolences also goes out to her husband and the rest of the family, and Rob I want you to know I'll be donating cash,to the information that's listed, Candice will be greatly missed, but forever in my heart!!heartheartcry

I have so many memories to choose from some hard,some sad,some happy,some funny but all are left for me to remember as I'll always remember you,when I met you you replaced a sister profile I had lost,a friend,and somehow according to one of your doctor's you became my mother.. LOL Even though I'm older than you. So rest in peace.....my Sister,Friend and Mom...I'll always love you. you'll be missed but NEVER Forgotten
