Obituary
Darrell Wayne Pearce, age 50, passed away unexpectedly in a motor vehicle accident on Monday, February 8, 2021, in Saginaw. The son of Darrell Mack and Paula Pearce, Darrell was born on February 13, 1970, in Clarksville, Texas.
Darrell (affectionately called Darrell Wayne or Peadoodle by those who loved him) was a hard worker, having been a skilled welder most of his life. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, and football - a Texas man through and through. He loved to cook a good southern meal, always topped with generous amounts of black pepper. He loved to make those he knew laugh with inside jokes, and his favorite movie was Remember the Titans. He was loved and will be remembered by many.
Darrell is survived by his daughter, Hillary and husband Adam Cawthon; grandson, Jensen Cawthon of Paris, Texas; mother and stepfather, Paula and Wilfred LeBlanc of Conroe, Texas; brother, Scotty Pearce and wife Bergandy of Idabel, Oklahoma; uncles, Tony Potts and Joey Potts of Clarksville, Texas; aunts, Marsha Ferguson of Detroit, Texas and Nancy Pearce Walker of Idabel, Oklahoma; uncle, Rick Pearce of Ada, Oklahoma. Darrell also leaves behind one niece, multiple nephews, and a myriad of cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Darrell Mack Pearce of Idabel, Oklahoma; his paternal grandparents, Darrell and Christine Pearce of Idabel, Oklahoma; his maternal grandparents, Oval and Helen Potts of Clarksville, Texas; Uncle, Gary Potts of Lindsay, Oklahoma; uncle, Jackie Potts of Clarksville, Texas, uncle, Ronnie Potts of Clarksville, Texas; aunt, Linda Copeland of Clarksville, Texas; and nephew Jarrett Potts of Kaufman, Texas.
Cremation has taken place, and a small memorial service for Darrell will be held by the family in the near future.
