Obituary
Patricia Jean Hardt, age 73, of Saginaw, passed away at home with family by her side on Monday, May 17, 2021. The daughter of Francis and Josephine (Chomas) McCliggott, Patricia was born February 24, 1948, in Alma, Michigan.
Patricia was a dedicated employee at Saginaw Steering Gear for 30 years, retiring in 2006. She was an active member of UAW Local 699, participating on many projects and committees over the years. She loved attending senior fitness classes at the Eleanor Frank Senior Center, where she also enjoyed Wii bowling and Euchre tournaments. She was an avid fan of Detroit Tigers baseball. Patricia was a people person who was known to keep in touch with her family and friends, often checking in with those she loved on Facebook.
Patricia is survived by her loving daughters, Kathy George and Diane George (Victor Bautista); her mother, Josephine McCliggott; sister, Beverly Ryan; brother-in-law, Joe Turner; nieces, Melanie (Jason) Scherer, Paula (Mike) Turner-Bommarito, Kristen (Eric) VanDyke, Lisa Turner McBride, Stephanie (Jeff) Wolpert, and Emily Anaya; many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Janet Turner, and her father, Francis McCliggott. Also a special acknowledgement to her grand -furbabies Mason and Sammi Jo, whom she dearly loved.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, May 22, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Andrew Catholic Church Site of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, 612 N. Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48602. Rev. Fr. John Mancini will officiate. Interment will take place at a later date at St. Mary's Cemetery, Mt. Forest Township, Bay County, Michigan.

Patricia, always game for fun. Always thoughtful of others. Laughter never far away. Stood up for what she believed. Willing to help in any way. Forgiving of those who slighted or offended her.
