Kenneth Martin Howay, age 82, of Harrison, passed away, Saturday, September 11, 2021 in Midland.
He was born on February 10, 1939 to Burgess and Florence (Ribble) Howay in Saginaw, Michigan.
Ken is survived by his children, Mark (Martha) Howay, Phil (Kathleen) Howay, Deborah (the late Dave) Coffey, and Brigadier General Bryan (Sharon) Howay; step son, Robert (Gwen) Kimball; grandchildren, Scott Howay, Eric (Stephanie) Howay, Matthew (Laura) Reinke, Jacob Coffey, Alyssa Coffey, Travis Howay and Ethan Howay; sister-in-law, Sally (the late Phil) Wendall; step son-in-law, Darren LaClair; step-grandchildren, Trinity Kimball and Sabath Kimball; a nephew and nieces, five great grandchildren, and special neighbors Jim and Cindy McBurney.
He also left behind his beloved Miniature Schnauzer and companion, Brandi.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Judith Gail Howay; stepdaughter, Kimberly LaClair; siblings, James (Freida) Howay; Ned (Helen) Howay; and sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Bill Lewis.
Ken had a strong Christian faith. He enjoyed hunting, riding and racing snowmobiles, playing Euchre and was a fan of stock car racing. He took pride in his job as a Journeyman Millwright for General Motors.
At Ken's request, cremation has taken place and there are no services planned.
