Lavonne Irene (Dubay) Cramer
1936-2025
She gained her wings and went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 8, 2025, from MyMichigan Health – Saginaw, surrounded by her family. She was 89 years old.
Lavonne worked for the Saginaw Board of Education for several years, until she retired.
Lavonne was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Cramer; son, Kenny Cramer.
She is survived by her children: Debra Stenger, Annette Cramer and Jimmie Cramer; daughters-in-law, Irene Cramer, Sharron Cramer and their families. Her memory will forever be cherished by her grandchildren: Stacy Stenger, Heather Wilson, Isaiah Paige, Johnathan Arthur Cramer, Anthony (Megan) Jurek, Santasia Martinez and a very special grandson, Phillip Cramer; great grandchildren: Kaylen Colston, Kyle Stenger, Jayce Cooks, Siera Wilson, Jayden Wilson, Anna Stenger and Lavette Cramer; great great-grandchildren: Dayln, Sevyn, Chase and Riley. She was a one of nine children, five sisters all deceased and four brothers, three surviving brothers: Cecil Dubay, Art Dubay and Russ Dubay.
Although Lavonne's physical presence may no longer grace our lives, her spirit will continue to inspire and uplift us! She loved to go to the casino that was her happy place!
Lavonne's family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the I.C.U., 4th floor and hospice nurses and staff of MyMichigan Health Saginaw for all of the love and support that they offered.
In keeping with Lavonne's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life gathering will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Fischer Family Funeral Home, 504 N. Michigan Ave., Saginaw, MI 48602.
