Luis Rivera, age 71 of Saginaw, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021, in Saginaw.
He was born on December 1, 1949, to Silvestre and Reynalda Rivera in Crystal City, Texas.
Luis was an excellent cook; he loved to make meals for his family, friends and neighbors. He also enjoyed listening to 60's and 70's Rock and Roll music. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Luis is survived by his children, Eddie (Christina) Rivera, Toni (fiancé Phil Orozco) Rivera, Pete Rivera, Angelo Perez, and Luis (Bianca) Rivera; several grandchildren, and many great grandchildren; siblings, Albert (Esther) Rivera, Raymond (Sally) Rivera, Alicia (the late Joe) Reyes, Gloria (Alex) Arizo, Sylivia (the late Mariano) Arizo, Rudy (Shelly) Rivera, Mary Ann (Joe) Silvia, Silvestre Rivera and Connie Rivera; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Olga Sanchez and Josephine Pineda; and his parents.
Cremation has taken place and there are no services planned for Luis at this time.
