Barbara “Barb” Jo Schmidt, age 74, of Bay City, passed away Monday, December 20, 2021. She was born on August 2, 1947, to Earl and Betty (Tuttle) Bishop, in Bay City.
Barb loved to read, do crossword puzzles, and play solitaire.
Barb is survived by her beloved son, Jon (Julie Medina) Schmidt; granddaughter, Adriana Gonzales; her mother, Betty Bishop, and her sister, Patti (Anthony) Swenski. She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Bishop, and her sister, Kathy Bishop.
Cremation has taken place and there are no services planned at this time.

So sorry to see this. Barb and I were classmates since 4th grade at Whittier school. My mother and dad, Alice and Eddie Taberski were friends of Earl and Betty. We were true south-enders.
