Joshua “Josh” Allen Aldrich, age 26, of Saginaw, passed away on December 15, 2021. The son of Melvin Aldrich and Janet Bates, Josh was born on January 13, 1995, in Bay City, Michigan where he resided most of his life.
Josh was a very family oriented man. He enjoyed spending his free time with family and making memories with nieces and nephews. Josh enjoyed working as a landscaper in bay and saginaw counties. Josh was very loved and will be missed dearly by all of his family and friends.
Josh is survived by his mother, Janet Bates; brothers, Austin Bates (Pamela Bates) and Anthony Schlicker; sisters, Mercedes Cardenas, Silvia Cardenas, and Carmenita Cardenas; grandmother, Darlene Medaris; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Aldrich; and his sister, Victoria Cardenas.
There are no services planned at this time. The family will notify friends and family of details for a memorial service when the details are sorted out as his death was sudden and unexpected.

Janet, my beautiful babygirl, words can't explain how I feel about losing Joshey, he was your first born, your light and shining star. Bob and I helped you raise him since the day he was born. To Austin, Anthony, Mercedes, Silvia, Carmen, grammas heart goes out to all. To Erica the mother of his son who will be here any day Josh loved you unconditionally don't ever forget that. Joshey will always be in our hearts and will watch over you all. Grams loves you Joshey, fly high among the angels until we meet again.
