Carol Sue Gardner, age 75, of Saginaw, passed away Tuesday, December 21, 2021, in Midland. She was born on October 11, 1946, to Palmer and Leona Allen in Saginaw.
Carol married Emerson Gardner, Jr., on October 11, 1969, in Vassar. He preceded her in death on October 29, 2017. Carol and Emerson enjoyed driving around bottle hunting. She loved going to garage sales, playing card games, including Rummy and war, and the board game, 'Aggravation'. She loved a frozen Coke and a Payday candy bar anytime someone went to the store, often feeding the peanuts to the squirrels. Most of all, Carol cherished time spent with her entire family, especially when the grandchildren were around.
She is survived by her loving children, Sheri (Glen) French, Jeff Gardner, and Dawn Foust; grandchildren, Daniel French, Ashley French, Glen French III, Megan French, Bionca Foust, Jayla Foust, and Bentley Foust; great grandchildren, Skylynn French, Colton French, and Marissa Martin; her brother, Arnold Allen; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Emerson Gardner, Jr.; her siblings, Darrell Allen, Duane Allen, Betty Miller, Beverly Miller, Donna Polan, Nancy Allen, and Darlene Germain.
A Memorial Gathering will be held in Spring of 2022.
