Obituary
Lisa Elizabeth Collins, 31, of Saginaw, MI, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 14, 2022. The daughter of Gregory and Lori (Ross) Collins, Lisa was born August 27, 1990, in Saginaw, Michigan. Lisa graduated from Swan Valley High School in 2009.
Lisa spent most of her life in Saginaw, but, in 2016, decided to move to San Diego, CA where she spent a few years near family. While in San Diego, she enjoyed hiking and taking beautiful pictures of her adventures. Lisa loved music and believed that “when words fail music speaks.” She also enjoyed movies and binge-watching TV shows.
Lisa loved many pets throughout her life, most recently her cat, Tobi. Lisa loved spending time with her friends and family. She brought joy wherever she went. Lisa was loved by many and will live on in our hearts and memories.
Lisa is survived by her father and step-mother, Greg and Amy Collins; her sister, Krista Collins; her step-sisters, Ella and Tess Giles; her grandmother, Donetta Collins; aunts and uncles, cousins; extended family, dear friends, and her beloved cat, Tobi. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lori Collins; and grandparents, Frances and Robert Ross and Bill Collins.
A celebration of Lisa's life will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Sullivan's Food and Spirits, 5235 Gratiot Road, Saginaw, MI 48638.
