Obituary
Allan “Al” Robert Wilke, age 72, of Saginaw, went home to be with the Lord with family by his side on Friday, March 18, 2022. The son of Henry and Margaret (Rommel) Wilke, Al was born on February 16, 1950, in Sturgis, Michigan. He married Linda Eagling on October 1, 1994. They shared 27 years together.
Al worked with McDonald Auto Group for 41 years, where he made many friends and loyal customers throughout the years. He enjoyed his time as a member of the Fordney Club. He was also a faithful member of Peace Lutheran Church, where he served as an Elder. Al adored Corvettes, owning several over the years and he loved working on cars. In his free time, he enjoyed vacationing in Florida with his family.
Al is survived by his beloved wife, Linda; his loving daughters, Alyssa Wilke and Mikayla Wilke; brother-in-law, David (Dede) Eagling; nieces and nephew, Melissa (Scott) Gibson), William Jordan, and Erin Eagling; great-niece, Chloe. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Margaret Wilke; and his sister, Ruth Jordan.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 23, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Fischer Family Funeral Home, 504 N. Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48602. Visitation will continue at Peace Lutheran Church, 3427 Adams Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48602, on Thursday, March 24, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Matthew Hauser will officiate.
Memorials in honor of Al may be made to Peace Lutheran Church Facilities Fund, care of the church.
