Obituary

Andrew “Andy” James Lambert, age 75, of Bridgeport Township, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at home. He was born on November 23, 1949, to Andrew and Thelma (Green) Lambert in Saginaw, Michigan.

Andy graduated from Bridgeport High School with the Class of 1967. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Andy was employed as a truck driver for many years at Leach Trucking, retiring in 2025 after 36 years of service. He always enjoyed talking and catching up with friends and family, being outdoors and taking in nature. Listening to live music was also a favorite of Andy's, and any sporting event. But many will remember him for his kind heart and ability to sharing a good laugh with those he loved.

Andy is survived by his beloved partner, Kathie Loveless; loving daughter, Honey Messina Becker; and adored grandchildren, Cole and Abbey Becker. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andy and Thelma; siblings, Joanne, Rich, and Dan Lambert, and several other family and friends.

Memorial Visitation will take place on Monday, September 1, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 7:00 p.m. at Fischer Family Funeral Home, 504 N. Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48602.

Sorry to hear of Andy's passing. We.grew up with Andy( Junior) we lived across the street.we are the Bramans. One of the few left on Mack road.

Andy was a wonderful companion to his beloved, Kathleen Loveless, and to his adopted Honey Becker and her children, Cole and Abby. Andy was a wonderful man and so committed to the afore mentioned. He was thoughtful and caring. He will be GREATLY missed. Merilyn Richards
