Mary Lou Fischer, age 74, passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2022, at Covenant HealthCare in Saginaw. The daughter of Wesley and Donnalee Voelker, Mary Lou was born on August 3, 1947 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married Ronald Fischer on December 7, 1968. They shared 52 years of marriage until his passing in September of 2021.
Mary Lou worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for 16 years, and she also spent 26 years working as the Lakefield Township Treasurer. She enjoyed many years of camping across the United States and spent winters in Florida with Ronald.
Mary Lou is survived by her loving children, Ronald Eugene II (Lori) Fischer, Lisa Virginia Williams, and Marcus Wesley Ernest (Ami) Fischer; adored grandchildren, Ronnie Fischer III, Brandy Williams, Katie Williams, Madelyn Fischer, and Ashley Wright; and one dear fur baby. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Fischer; siblings, Leora Roberts, Esther Turner, and Wilma Almy; and her parents.
Committal Service will take place on June 1, 2022, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 950 N. Center Road, Saginaw, Michigan, 48638 at 1:00 p.m.
