Obituary
Thomas George Abdelnour, age 96, of Au Gres, MI, died on Saturday, June 4, 2022, in Saginaw, MI. Thomas was born July 16, 1925, in Detroit, Michigan to Albert and Mary (Abraham) Abdelnour.
He grew up in the east side of Detroit where, as a young boy, he sold newspapers on a downtown street corner during the Depression era. On August 20, 1950, he married his beloved wife, Daisy Masaid, who preceded him in death on April 5, 2006. Thomas retired as a private freelance barber. He had a great passion for handball and racquetball. Everyone who knew him will remember his wonderful sense of humor.
Thomas is survived by his loving daughters, Kathleen Pettica, Christine (Linden) Mills, and
Ruth Anne (John) Saunders, and his adoring grandson, Jonathan Saunders. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Abraham, Moses, Esper, Mary Njaim, George, Abe, and Helen Myszke Pannock.
A private interment of cremated remains will be held at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan.
