Obituary
Jessica Lynn Zastrow, age 35, of Bay City, graduated from her earthly journey on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, after a lengthy battle with diabetes and other health complications. During her health battle she remained humble and grateful.
The daughter of Tony Farr and Amy (Zastrow) Balderrama, she was born on December 15, 1986, in Saginaw, Michigan.
She is survived by her devoted partner, Torrence “Bear” McMurren (her forever love); stepson, Torrence “Cub”; her mother, Amy (Bobby) Balderrama; father, Tony Farr; five brothers, Tony Zastrow, James (Anna) San Miguel, Robert B. Balderrama, Nick (Britnee) Balderrama, and Jeff Sovine; special nephew, Onyx and niece, Dahlia; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Jessica was preceded in death by her “Papa” Donald Zastrow, and “Gramma” Betty Zastrow; aunt, Deb McCready; cousin, Aiden Moulds; and paternal grandparents, Flotilla Sr. and Verlamae Farr.
Jessica was a beautiful shining star with a singing voice to match. Her stepdad, Bobby Balderrama, would have loved for her to sing in his band and plans for that were made, but she was taken too soon. She was loving, caring, stubborn and sometimes a stinker. She loved her “adopted” children, born to her close friends, Chanell, Julia, Katy (LaLa), Rachel (Lucy) and Brittany Emeott.
She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 4:00 p.m., at Fischer Family Funeral Home, 504 N. Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48602.
