Arlo Byron Massey, age 5 weeks, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. Born on August 13, 2025, in Saginaw, Michigan, Arlo is the beloved son of Cameron and Arika (Bourbina) Massey.
Though his time on Earth was short, Arlo was loved beyond all measure. He adored his family, especially his brothers. He would smile when they kissed him, and he was simply fascinated by them. Arlo was born with character and even the NICU nurses commented on what an expressive baby he was. He was a little perplexed by the family dog, Arwen, especially when she kissed him. If there was any place Arlo could choose to be, it was to be held, always, or to look outside at the passing clouds and blue sky, which he would marvel at. Arlo will always be loved and missed, and the impact he has had on his family will last a lifetime.
Arlo is survived by his beloved parents, Cameron and Arika Massey; adoring brothers, Ronan and Søren Massey; loving grandparents, Deeva Massey, Mark Massey, Kristine Bourbina, and Donald Bourbina, Jr.; great-grandparents, Sharon Fritz, Jerry Fritz, Alice Sharron Such, George Such, Robert Richmond, Donald Bourbina, Sr., and Fran Bourbina; aunt, Andrea Foster; cousin, Effie Foster; great aunts and uncles, Heather Fritz, Dennis Trylch, Denita Muñoz, Frank Muñoz, Dennis Bourbina, Leigh Bourbina, Tom Bourbina, and Kim Bourbina.
A private gathering will take place by invitation.
