Obituary
Marie Frances Denome, age 85, of Saginaw, passed away on Friday, October 21, 2022. The daughter of Thomas and Katherine (Langford) Leahy, Marie was born May 6, 1937, in Manhattan, New York.
Marie married Gerald Denome on June 1, 1974, and they spend over forty-eight years together. Marie was a dedicated employee and champion of the Catholic school system, working as a teacher, counselor, assistant principal, and eventually principal of Nouvel Catholic High School. She was inducted into the Catholic School Hall of Fame in 2001. Marie and Jerry also enjoyed traveling during their time together.
Marie is survived by her loving husband, Gerald Denome; children, Gerald D. Denome, Robert T. Denome, and Michael J. Denome; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and a nephew. She was preceded in death by her sister, Eileen Leahy Gerigk, and by her parents.
Services will be held privately for family. Burial will take place at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, Saginaw, Michigan.
