William “Bill” Joseph Whisman, age 46, of Saginaw, passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022. The son of David VanConette and Karen Hoffman, Bill was born September 24, 1976, in Saginaw, Michigan.
Bill worked at Best Buy, which suited him because of his long-time love for computer gaming. He was skilled enough that he even designed his own computer game. He was a fan of Metallica and always enjoyed a good round of golf.
Bill is survived by his mother, Karen Hoffman Whisman; siblings, Cheryl (Santino Castanon) Whisman, Stephanie Whisman, Charles “Chuck” Whisman, Clifford “Cliff” Paulson and Heather Brothers; nieces and nephews, Ernest Romero, Monica Castanon, Alyssa Castanon, Andrea Castanon, Alena Espinoza, Gabriella Castanon, Joel Castanon, Jr., and Nicholas Castanon; 8 great nieces and nephews; aunt, Patricia (Tony Auagliata) Delavern; cousins, Tim DeLavern, Chris DeLavern, and Billy Zeman; and special friends, Chris Muth, Troy Williams, Bobby Newman, Dianna Newman, Adam Leppert, Amanda Keatts, and Barry Phiefer.
At this time, there are no services planned and cremation has taken place, according to Bill's wishes.
