Richard Alan Brown, age 55, of Brant, passed away after a two year long battle with cancer on Friday, December 2, 2022, at home with loved ones by his side.
He was born on March 27, 1967, to Richard and Maria Brown in Alma, Michigan.
Richard worked for Spalding Manufacturing for 18 years. He enjoyed snowmobiling, air soft wars, dirt bikes, flying remote airplanes, mini-bikes, and go karts with family and friends. He was very skilled with small engine repairs – there wasn't much he couldn't fix. Richard was known to be a jokester and particularly loved playing jokes on his family and friends.
Richard is survived by his wife, Trina Brown; his son, Aaron Brown; Trina's children, Cody Brown and Madison Brown; his parents, siblings, Manuel Brown, Tarica (Chris) Brown-Jordon, Jacob (Shawn Lynn) Brown, and Kenneth Brown; brother-in-law and dear friend, Kurt (Michelle) Dittenber; friend, Nick (Michelle) Cooper; nephews, Brandon, Seth, Gabriel and Kamron; nieces, Tiffani and Annette; great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his oldest siter, Annette L. Brown; and his grandparents, Rosa Palomarz, Martin Betancourt, Grace Wells and Ivan Brown.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Bible Baptist Church, 5015 S. Merrill Road, Merrill, Michigan, 48637. After the service, a dinner will be held across the street at the Lakefield Township Hall, 21050 Lakefield Road, Merrill, MI 48637.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Richard's family, care of Trina Brown.
