Ferris (Don’t call me skip) was a good friend in High School and in the pool room. We had many exciting adventures. He was an excellent student and helped with term papers. Also helped get me a job at Saginaw GM Transmission. He loved driving his new 1965 Mustang. Loved his political advocacy .RIP Brother

I can attest to Skip as a great pool player. My dad Al Schmid sold him that National 9 x 41/2 pool table down in his basement when in 1985 I first returned to town as a lawyer. Of course installation was included, and we all know what that means, but when that hard job was done I knew the table was going to a good home. You should have seen him on that brand new felt it was a much needed lesson in humility for me.
I also love Jimmy and Dan - both great guys who were kind to their father, and everyone they knew really. Jimmy was the best player on our little league team aptly named the "Guys and Dolls Sharks."
So sorry for your loss and I hope too see you sometime in the future.

I knew Ferris back inthe '60s when he was honing his pool "shark' skills at the Rack and Cue pool hall on Center at State Street. I was one of the "Fish" that he caught often and we've laughed at that term many times over the years and that I donated to his college fund. I've always enjoyed his sardonic humor. With all due respect to his legal collegues, there is an old addage that "99% of the attorneys give the rest of them a bad name" Ferris Lucien Arnold was always in that 1% that didn't. RIP
