Obituary
Randall Lee Schulz, age 63, of Carrollton, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, May 26, 2023.
Randall Lee Schulz was the fourth born child to Henry E. and Mildred M. (Billmeier) Schulz, on December 3, 1959. Randy and his siblings; Henry John, Sharen Kay, Daniel Allan, and Marlene Marie, were all raised on the family farm in Bridgeport. They grew up together as a close-knit family who shared chores caring for dairy cows, and growing and harvesting crops every season.
Randy graduated in 1978 from Bridgeport High School. He enlisted in the US Navy. He served on the USS Kearsarge, the USS Spruance, and the USS Wainwright and entered into dangerous waters serving as a postal clerk on each ship. In 1984, Randy married the love of his life, Janet Andrus, at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church in Bridgeport. Randy lost Janet after a long and serious battle against cancer. Randy then completed serving in the Navy for 20 years before retiring. Since retiring, Randy had resided in Saginaw after serving in South Carolina, Virginia, and Washington, DC.
Randy is survived by his beloved stepdaughter, Stephanie Wheeler, of South Carolina; her two children, Tiffany Janetlynne Lundquist and Dustin Lundquist, of Idaho, along with their children; MacKenzie, Jade, Valerie and Bryson; his siblings, Henry (Susan) Schulz, Sharen Schulz, Daniel (Sharen) Schulz, and Marlene (Bob) Duggar; nieces and nephews, Sarah Russell, Laura Hoskins, Matt Duggar, Ben Duggar, Zachary Schulz; two great nephews and one great niece. Randy was preceded in death by his wife, Janet, his parents, and several aunts and uncles.
Visitation will take place Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, 6065 King Road, Bridgeport, MI 48722. Entombment will take place at Chapel Hill Mausoleum, Freeland.
Memorials in honor of Randy may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church, care of the church.

Randy was a good friend for many many years. We work together at big johns and I met him about 1980. He will definitely be missed. Sleep well my good friend where was the each other again.
