Obituary
Timothy Allen Grueber, age 63, of Saginaw, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 25, 2023. He was born on January 19, 1960, to Arno and Bonnie Grueber in Saginaw, Michigan.
Tim worked many years in retail until eventually becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant. He served as the current Vice President at Ascension Lutheran Church, was treasurer of St. John's Legacy Foundation, a tutor at Bethlehem Lutheran School, and also served as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) for the Child Abuse and Neglect Council of Saginaw County. Tim went to clown school and loved being a clown. He enjoyed singing, baking, and cooking. His house was always open to his family and friends for special occasions, holidays, or an impromptu visit. Tim will be remembered for his nurturing and kind nature. From childhood, his care for others from young to elderly has always been evident.
Tim is survived by his beloved children, Adam (Chelsea) Grueber and Kaitlynn (Ryan) Sills; grandchildren, Greyson and Jameson Grueber; sisters, Pam Grueber and Kim Grueber; dear friend Warren Platko. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial Visitation will take place on Sunday, July 30, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Fischer Family Funeral Home, 504 N. Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48602. Visitation will continue Monday, July 31, 2023, from 10:00 a.m., until the time of Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m., at Ascension Lutheran Church, 8695 Gratiot Road, Saginaw, MI 48609. Pastor Julie Bailey will officiate.
Memorials in honor of Tim may be made to the church.

Tim was part of the class of 1978 at Carrollton High School. I'll never forget our freshman year, we had the homecoming float at my house and Tim and Roger and I and others were up till at least 4:00 in the morning making toilet paper flowers for our duck float. I'll never forget when you got your toe run over by the trailer that was hauling our float. For a minute I couldn't figure out what you were doing, you just kept yelling ow ow ow. Those were good times. I'm going to miss you my friend.

I went through Bethlehem Elementary with Tim. He was always a very kind person. Very sorry for his loss at such a young age. My sympathies to his family.

I enjoyed our rug making project to raise money for Bethlehem School. Tim was a kind man and a good friend to the family he will definitely be missed.

I went to every year of school With Tim. Bethlehem to Carrollton. He was just Tim. Kind person gentle giant. Supportive person who loved his lord. Love community and bringing those together that shared that community. Bethlehem class of 74 we grew up together. You will be missed
