Obituary
Blake Andrew Johnson, age 70, of Saginaw, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023, at Covenant HealthCare in Saginaw. He was born on October 13, 1952, to William and Ernestine Johnson in Saginaw.
Blake graduated from Arthur Hill High School in 1971. He then when on to attend Oakland University. Blake was a faithful person, serving as an altar boy in the Episcopal church as a young child. He eventually began attending St. Andrew Catholic Church, and later in life, First Presbyterian Church in Saginaw. Blake worked his entire career as a Security Guard with Conley Security Agency.
Blake is survived by his beloved son, Tyler Johnson; sibings, Fritz (Sherry) Johnson, Tracy Montero, John Woodrow, and Janet; brothers and sisters-in-law, Michael (Janet) Clayton, Karen Clayton, Connie Cunningham, Colleen (Paul) Southwell, and Paul (Toni) Clayton; special friend, Esther Watrous; many nieces, nephews, and cousins, including a special cousin, Katie Philibeck.
He was preceded in death by his dear wife, Cathryn Susan Johnson, their daughter, Kristen Lee Johnson; his parents; stepparents, John Woodrow and Elinor Johnson; stepbrother, Jim Woodrow, brother-in-law, Dan Cunningham; sister-in-law, Christine White; and mother and father-in-law, John “Jack” and Mary Clayton.
Cremation has taken place and there will be a private committal service at St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery in Saginaw, Michigan, at a later date.
