James Lipsey, Jr., age 59, of Bay City, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023. The son of James Lipsey, Sr., and Mae (Zachary) Lipsey, James was born September 7, 1964.
James enjoyed spending time with family, drawing, dancing, and cooking.
James is survived by his father, James Lipsey, Sr.; siblings, Darrick (Deiadra Brookins) Lipsey, Denise Lipsey (significant other, Willie Shavers), Vincente Lipsey, Nicole Lipsey, Dana (Alexa Lewis) Lipsey, Jamal (Keyon Riche) Lipsey, Krystle (Terrance) Shivers, Christina Lipsey; and special goddaughter, Shatia Adkins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mae Lipsey; grandparents, Lovie Johnson, Alice Bellas, Henry Zachary, and Frank Lipsey; Aunts, Shirley Thompson, Beatrice, Mary, Peggy, and Gilda Lipsey; nephew, Johnathan Brookins; and great nephew, Antonie D. Archibald Jr.
Honoring James's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
