Steven “Steve” Jay Blackmer, age 51, passed away unexpectedly at home on the evening of Tuesday, December 12, 2023. He was born on October 27, 1972, to Claude and Margery Blackmer in Saginaw.
Steve loved to watch baseball, wrestling and play video games.
Steve is survived by his children, Nikkolas McGaw, Jonathan Jackett, and Naomi Blackmer; 5 grandchildren; his mother, Marge Blackmer; father, Claude (Barb) Blackmer; his fiancée, Sherry Waldron, and her children, Kyle (Aubre) Goward, Travis Goward, Caleb Goward, and Marissa (Devlen Myers) Goward; half brother, Tony Blackmer; uncles and aunts, Howard LaCross, Mike LaCross, Betty Shelswell, and Vicky Okoniewski; several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his infant sister, Anna Marie Blackmer.
Cremation has taken place and there are no services planned at this time.
