Obituary
Lawrence “Larry” Alderton Schwinck, age 77, of Bay City, Michigan passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 5, 2024, at McLaren Bay Region Hospital. He was born on August 11, 1946, to Lawrence and Renus Schwinck in Saginaw, Michigan.
Larry loved caring for his dogs that he had throughout the years. He enjoyed computers and taking trips on his pontoon boat. After retirement, Larry found great joy in taking daily walks, catching up with old friends, and making new friends out for breakfast. Of all the things he loved in life, his most cherished time was that spent with his family, including his adored grandchildren.
Larry is survived by his beloved wife, Janet Schwinck; children, Sarah (Paul Gomez) Schwinck and Matthew (Austin Richardson) Schwinck; grandchildren, Sage Schwinck, Myles Schwinck and Sloane Gomez; and a sister, Nancy Redmond; nieces, nephews, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Laurie Mattlin; and his parents.
Cremation has taken place and there are no services planned at this time for Larry.
Burial will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, Michigan in the Spring of 2024.
