Obituary
Gertha Lee Green, age 98, of Saginaw, Michigan, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 16, 2025. The daughter of Tom and Geneva (Hogg) Lyles, Gertha was born March 9, 1927, in Holly Springs, Mississippi.
Gertha leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter, LaMonique Cooper; stepson, Robert Green; special grandchildren, Terry Cooper, Jr., Tierra Cooper, and Lamon Cooper; special great grandchildren, Alicia Watson, Tomas Baldwin, Tera Young, Michael Glen, Jr., and Dominic Glen; her sister, Liza Mae Cato; brother, Tommy Lyles, Jr.; and a host of grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Geneva Lyles; her brothers, Willie Lyles, Joe Lyles, and Cleaveland Lyles; her daughter, Patricia Green; and her granddaughter, Domonique Watson.
Visitation will take place Friday, November 21, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. at Fischer Family Funeral Home, 504 N. Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48602. Pastor Theodore Watson will officiate. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Saginaw.

May God continue to bless you Ms Gertha, even though heaven doesn’t need any law enforcement, I know you’re keeping an eye on everything up there. Ms Gertha you were the sweetest person I ever met, my sister Rosalind (your roomie) is missing you so much, but she knows you are in heaven.
