Obituary
Theodore “Ted” Josh Ashley, age 90, of Saginaw, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024, at Covenant HealthCare in Saginaw. The son of Theodore and Arletta (Wehren) Ashley, Ted was born January 31, 1933, in Saginaw, Michigan.
Ted enjoyed watching football, trips to the casino, and solving crossword puzzles. He especially loved time spent outdoors camping.
Ted is survived by his loving children, Theodore (Tricia) Ashley and Amy Ashley; dear grandchildren, TJ Ashley (partner, Dani Breault), Adam (fiancée, AnnaLisa Balderrama), Marie (John) Kelley, Rochelle (Brendan) Hayes, Katrina (Juan) Guerrara, Leo Loiacano, and Melanie (Bill) Flynn; 11 great-grandchildren; and son-in-law, Ed LaLonde. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Gloria E. Ashley in 1989; second wife, Evelyn Palmer in 2008; his daughters and son-in-law, Cathy (Leo) Loiacano and Vickie LaLonde; his grandson, Kevin Hoeppner; his brother, John Ashley; and his parents.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. at Fischer Family Funeral Services, 504 N. Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48602. Rev. Ted McCulloch will officiate. Private interment will take place at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Saginaw.
Memorials in honor of Ted may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
