Obituary
Phyllis Lee Coveyou, age 82, of Saginaw, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2024. The daughter of Wilbur and Kathryn (Thurman) O'Dell, Phyllis was born October 29, 1941, in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Phyllis was avidly involved with the Deaf community in the Saginaw area. She enjoyed crocheting, art, puzzles, and a good piece of chocolate.
Phyllis is survived by her loving children, Karen Carmo, Bruce Rhoades, Debbie Dirickx, Nancy Wilson, Jeffrey Wendell, Darlene (Dave) White, and James Sawyer; several grandchildren; many great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Coveyou; her son, Charles Wendell; grandson, David Stone; great granddaughter, Morgan Lipp; her parents; and her siblings, Pat Frymire, Mike O'Dell, Sally O'Dell, and Lynn Pedalino.
Visitation will take place Monday, March 4, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. at Fischer Family Funeral Home, 504 N. Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48602. Pastor Steven Henry will officiate. Burial will take place at Watertown Township Cemetery, Fostoria, Michigan.
