Mary Gray

Mary J. Gray, age 80, of Saginaw, passed away with family by her side on Saturday, April 13, 2024. The daughter of Theodore and Lucille (Kehr) Temple, Mary was born November 1, 1943, in Saginaw, Michigan. She married James R. Gray, Sr., and together they shared eighteen years, until James's passing on December 14, 1979.

Mary was the proud business owner of Universal Sign. She loved to work and did so up until last year at the age of 79. Mary had tremendous artistic talent, enjoying painting, creating woodwork, and more. She also loved gardening and raising chickens.

Mary is survived by her children, Robinn (Mike) Geitman, Jim (Debbie) Gray, Colleen (Brian Woodcock) Gray, and David Gray; grandchildren, Kyle Geitman, Hollie (Frank) Near, Joshua (Ericka) Gray, Aaron (Kayla) Gray, Sean (Amanda Himmel) Gray, Amelia (Jacob) Smith, Lukas (Kayleen) Woodcock, Sydney Woodcock, and Wesley Woodcock; great grandchildren, Natalee Near, Isabella Gray, Scotlynd Gray, Ashlynn Gray, Henry Woodcock, Oliver Woodcock, and Rowan Woodcock; brother, Theodore Temple. She was preceded in death by her husband, James R. Gray, Sr.; her grandson, Zachary Woodcock; and her parents.

Honoring Mary's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services are planned. Interment will take place at a later date at Buena Vista Township Cemetery.
