Karen Rychel

Karen Lee (Enszer) Rychel, age 71, passed away peacefully early Thursday morning, April 25, 2024, at Adira Nursing Home. The daughter of the late James and Carol (Neiderquill) Enszer, she was born on January 9, 1953 in Saginaw. Karen was a loving daycare provider for 45 years in her home. She enjoyed reading, gardening, line dancing, baking for the holidays and spending time with family and friends.

Karen is survived by her three children, Jason (Angela) Rychel, Scott Rychel and Jennifer (Casey) Farmer; six grandchildren, Tyler (Elizabeth) Rychel, Zachary Rychel, Tanner Rychel, Isabella Farmer, Brayden Farmer and Ferris Farmer; her great granddaughter, Emma Rychel and waiting for arrival of baby boy Rychel; two brothers and her sister, John Enszer, Jim Enszer and Sally Dietzel; many nieces and nephews; and her loving soulmate, Nick Hall. In addition to her parents, Karen was also preceded in death by a grandson, Isaac Farmer; nephew, Kyle Enszer; and her brother-in-law, Rob Dietzel.

Visitation will take place Wednesday, May 1, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Fischer Family Funeral Home, 504 N. Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48602. Visitation will continue Thursday, May 2, 2024, at Old Town Christian Outreach Center, 600 Gratiot Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48602, from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Bill Bodnar will officiate. Entombment will take place at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Saginaw.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the wishes of the family for a charity to be decided later.
