Obituary
Joanne Margaret Psetas (nee McIntyre), age 86, of Saginaw, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 28, 2025. The daughter of Joseph and Margaret (Adams) McIntyre, Joanne was born November 27, 1939, in Saginaw, Michigan.
Joanne grew up at McIntyre Funeral Chapel, her father's business, and was very proud of the legacy her parents left behind. The funeral home always felt “like home” to her. Joanne worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Dr. Lalonde's medical office for many years, where she enjoyed serving the patients and connecting with them. She was a devout Catholic and a longtime parishioner at St. Stephen Catholic Church. She was also a dedicated QVC shopper, a gift for any occasion at the ready. Joanne was quick-witted, always gave it to you straight, and enjoyed making comments that could get the occasional rise out of friends and family.
Joanne is survived by her children, Julie (Chick) Groesbeck, Jodie (Tom) Kerby, Nick (Shannon) Psetas, and Jamie (C. Mike) Gorte; ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; special friend, Roger Dubay; stepchildren, Mike Davis and Jean Seaver; many friends, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husbands, William “Bill” Psetas, and later in life, Paul Davis; brother, James “Jim” McIntyre; son-in-law, David “Dave” Furtaw; her parents, Joseph and Margaret McIntyre; and her beloved dog, Gracie.
Joanne's family wishes to thank the caregivers of Wellspring, for their kindness and care.
Services for Joanne will be held privately. Interment will take place at St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery, Saginaw, Michigan.

So sorry for your loss Prayers to your family as you grieve her loss.Joanne was a very dear friend of my mom Maxine. Joanne was the most sweet lady ever. She was so giving to others. I use to go pick blueberries and bring her some. And she loved my lilac’s So I dug one up and brought it over to her and planted it in her yard. I will miss her.

So sorry to hear of Joanne’s passing! Met her first at MJ Murphy cosmetology school! Wrote state boards together! Then reacquainted back at Dr Lalonde’s office! Had a lot of good laughs throughout our years. Sympathies to Joanne’s family!!
