Obituary
Patrick “Pat” E. Church, age 70, of Saginaw, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 25, 2024, at home. He was born on July 7, 1954, to Otis and Vivian Church in Saginaw, Michigan.
Pat was a very creative person who enjoyed drawing, sign painting, crafting and had a knack to build just about anything. He loved the camaraderie and friendship from his buddies at Bruces in Carrollton and Maple Gardens, places that became his second home. He had a lifelong passion for playing pool, darts, spending time outside tinkering on things, hunting and was a collector of many things. Pat was always reading and was always eager to learn something new. He will be remembered for his love of dogs and quirky songs.
Pat is survived by his son, Jeremy (Amanda) Hanson; grandchildren, Kaylee, Arihanna, Alaina, Joseph, Alyssa and Avyah; siblings, Michael (Penny) Church, Kathryn (Ted) Partlow and Sandy (Rich) Balzer; aunt Mary; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sue Church, and his parents.
Visitation will take place Wednesday, July 31, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of Funeral Service at 7:00 p.m., at Fischer Family Funeral Home, 504 N. Michigan Avenue, Saginaw, MI 48602. Tori Little will officiate. Military honors will follow the service at the funeral home.
