To the Brasseur family, my sincere condolences in the loss of your dear mother. She was a lovely person. Your family was very kind to ours. Jim was a good friend to my husband Ron. We enjoyed sharing some meals together on occasion. May God bring to mind many great memories as you journey through this difficult time.

Jean was one of the kindest most down to earth person I know. After my severe head on car accident, I was wheelchair bound. My daughter took me to get lunch, when I saw Jean in line, I asked my daughter to please leave. I did not want her to see me like this. My daughter quickly wheeled me up to Jean. Jean said hi and started talking to me. She did not see the wheelchair, just me. After that I decided not to let being in a wheelchair keep me from being me.

To Jean's children: This is Margie Siegelin Gilbert. I am your mother's cousin. Uncle Everett was my father's (Wayne's) brother. Just by chance, I found out that Jean has passed away. I am saddened. I am forever sorry that our families didn't remain in touch throughout the years. I think distance and time got in the way. I have also just found out that Helen passed away several years ago. I cannot find a copy of her obituary. Helen sent Christmas cards each year until a few years ago, but I got to keep up through her cards. If you have a copy of Helen's obituary would you kindly send it to me: margiebgilbert@gmail.com. I would love to know more about Jean's family, too. I know Jean was a wonderful lady and much loved by her family. Most sincere sympathies, Margie Siegelin Gilbert.
