Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and dear friend passed away peacefully on Friday, December 26, 2025 at MyMichigan Health – Midland. He was 86 years old. Terry Mack Lynes was born on March 26, 1939 in Saginaw to Edward H. and Mary Ellen (Berwick) Lynes. Terry returned to Saginaw and worked with his father and brothers at Ed Lynes and Sons Floor Covering for over 20 years. He then continued his career at A.T. Frank Flooring. During his retirement, Terry enjoyed driving cars for Burt Watson Car Dealership.

Terry married his neighborhood sweetheart, Sandra “Sandy” Utermark on January 30, 1960 at Redeemer Lutheran Church, Saginaw, together they celebrated over 65 wonderful years together. Terry loved to play baseball, enjoying many games at Hoyt Park and Vets Park in Bay City. He loved to cheer on the Tigers, and also enjoyed being at the 1984 World Series Game. What Terry cherished most, was being with his family, including many special trips to Tim Hortons with his grandchildren. He loved to coach his children's sports teams through their youth, and watching his children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews in all of their events. Throughout his life, Terry had many pets that he dearly loved, including his beloved, Otis and Tug.
