William Francis Denardo

William Francis Denardo, age 87, of Haslett, Michigan, passed away with his family by his side on Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at Hospice House of Mid-Michigan on the campus of Sparrow Hospital, Lansing, Michigan. The son of Antonio and Maymie Denardo, William "Bill" was born on February 23, 1933, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Bill and his wife Alice loved the outdoors, keeping a beautifully landscaped yard, flower gardens, and fish ponds. They attended New Hope Church in East Lansing. He spent the early part of his career as a teacher and later as an Administrator at Lansing Community College. He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Alice Denardo; loving children, Daniel “Dan” (Kay) Denardo, Tim (Peggy) Denardo, and Karen (Brett Brouwer) Denardo; adored grandchildren, Dawn (Ben) Hyrman, and Sara (John) Jordan, and Danny Denardo; great grandson, Markie Jordan; brother, Thomas “Tom” Denardo; and their dear nephew, Alan (Mary Beth) Wass. He was preceded in death by his parents. Bill was a United States Navy Korean War Veteran. Memorials may be made to Ingham County Veteran Affairs. Services will be planned for a later date.
